Amai Upcycled Jacket

This is originally a MiaModa coat that Tanya has upcycled with the theme Amai, meaning mother in the Shona language. It has a subtle design that makes a statement. The predominant fabric used for the design is ShweShwe from South Africa. The inspired theme is being a mother comes with responsibilities and even then mothers deserve flowers. They deserve to shine too, hence the rays of sunshine on the back of the coat. Motherhood/womanhood is to be celebrated.
